Course Visualizer

N E S W
course mark offset finish RC boat start pin ⌁ faint dashed line = course route (a guide — your wake is the real path) Drag the boat to sail! Its wake trails behind, the sail trims itself, and tacks & jibes get labeled. A red wake means you're in the no-go zone. Drag marks to fine-tune, grab the dashed line to slide the whole course.
Outline traced from the lake map (vertically exaggerated a touch for clarity) — not for navigation. Windward and offset are shown rounded to port; the gate can be taken either way. The RC sets the real course.

Reading the Course

Start: cross the line between the committee boat and the pin, sailing upwind. Windward mark: leave it to port, then the short hop to the small yellow offset mark keeps boats clear of traffic still beating up. Leeward gate: two orange tetrahedrons — pick either one, round it the natural way, and head back upwind. Choosing the gate side that takes you toward the favored side of the next beat is free distance. Finish: between the committee boat and the green mark off its starboard side.

Triangle (Olympic): beat to the windward mark, bear away onto the reach to the jibe mark, jibe, reach back to the leeward mark, and beat again. Reaches reward clear air — defend high early, then drive low for speed.
